Tools~Flat brush



Flat brushes seem to be the preferred brush when it comes to applying gel polish or building gels. It is also wonderful for creating one-stroke nail paintings. Flat brushes with slightly rounded tips like the above picture are great for working around the cuticles.

Tools~Striping brush


Striping brushes have very little hair. It comes in a few lengths but they all typically have very little hair in order to draw long lines. Lines of different widths can be created by applying different pressure while painting as well as manipulating the amount of paint used.

For the best results when drawing using striping brushes, it is recommended that they be wash after every few strokes of painting to prevent untidy clumps on your nail art.

Nail art detail brushes also comes in a few lengths, but all of them are generally shorter than those on striping brushes.
